Empty Arms Healthcare Charities offers support to families in Maine whose lives have been touched by the tragic death of a baby through  pregnancy loss, stillbirth, or in the first few months of life. We are also committed to providing information and awareness to the community - including caregivers, family, friends, and employers - regarding the needs and rights of families who have experienced pregnancy or infant loss.

  • Remembrance Walk
    On October 13th, at 9:00 AM, Empty Arms is hosting a 1 mile walk at the Mt. Hope Cemetary in Bangor. The walk is an opportunity for family & friends to come together and remember their babies lost through miscarriage, stillbirth or in the first months of life. Walkers are asked to raise funds through pledges, and there is a $15 minimum donation to participate. Pledge forms can be obtained by contacting us through the public Facebook event at https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151151317503610&set=p.10151151317503610&type=1&theater#!/events/446948855343802/
    Honor the baby(s) you have lost or show your support for a friend or family member who may have also experienced a loss. You will be helping Empty Arms to continue supporting families in need.

  • Support Meetings
    Our monthly support meeting is the 3rd Thursday of every month, 6:30 - 8:00 PM at Husson University, Commons Building, Room 325 in Bangor. If you need directions or have questions regarding the meetings, please contact us. RSVP's are greatly appreciated.

  • Benefit Concert
    For anyone who wasn't able to be there, here's a video of Amy Robbins-Wilson from our recent benefit concert. It was a truly amazing experience, and everyone who attended talked about what a gift it was to be able to remember our babies in such a special way. Many thanks to Amy for sharing her amazing talent, to our wonderful volunteers who shared their time, and those who came out to support us!
